I have had a good last week at Arohanuni before the Christmas break. I am very happy with my secret santa gift.

I love Christmas!  I've been having so much fun with my friends at Christmas.   It's the best!!!!!

I got to dress up in sensory today.  We played music and I dressed up as an angel!

My birthday

Today is my Arohanui birthday celebration.  I rode in with my mum and she brought lots of my favourite birthday foods.  I sat with my best friend Tom and had a great, great, GREAT time.  I was lucky this year and got a birthday at home and one at Arohanui.  😉

My birthday is coming this week. It's on Friday, so I'm going to have another party on Monday!  💄🎂

Reading fun

I and my friend like sitting together while we read.  We went to the library this morning and had a great time with some new favourites .

Greerton visits

I've been going to Greerton on Mondays, with my friend Amy.

We both love the sensory and music we've been doing.  I really like the dance times.  I don't dance but I love watching.

Music session

I love music!  It's my favourite reason to go and visit Greerton.  I played the piano this week.  I sang Happy Birthday

Musical

I had a great time making music with my friends.  It was raining so we had fun with our musical instruments.  We even listened to some music and played along.  My favourite was the One Direction!!!!

World of Taste

We went to the coffe club today, World of Taste makes nice coffee.  I liked sitting with my friend.

Scones

I was with my best friend Tom making yummy scones.  They were more fun to eat!

Live music

Monday I had a treat for music.  There was actual live music!  I liked the old country music, some of us even sang along.  I had fun sitting with my friend.

Mid Winter Lunch

We had a big lunch today at Chinatown.  All the people at Arohanui Te Puke went along and my mum even came!  It was really fun to have all my friends together.  We ate lots of nice food and had a great time.

We all went to the beach at Sulphur Point today.  Marshall was sailing and I got to wave and watch.  Maybe I'll go someday.  I liked the beach with all its shells.  I walked for a while and then ate lunch with my friends.

Today was a big day.n I went to Greerton sensory, music, and got to do some art after we made anANZAC flower.

Making Easter goodies

In cooking this week we used moulds to shape chocolate, and then we made some Easter baskets to put some Easter treats into, with chickens and bunnies, stickers and brightness...you all know how much I love bunnies!

It was such awful weather today, we decided to have a nice big game of bingo together, I got some lines and so so close to filling my board!

Lacey sensory and fritters

I love things I can feel and smell, we found a box of old lace and frilly off cuts, there were a few different patterns and colours, I particularly enjoyed a lovely red piece, it twirled around my fingers well, but didn't smell like much! Did I mention I was a pro at mixing batter for fritters,I loved how the egg yolk exploded it's orange all through the batter when I stirred!

HI'm really enjoying my cooking sessions, I particularly enjoy fish pie and this week I chose tuna fish cakes! I can't wait to try them! This potatoe peeling business is a bit tricky I must say

Connect 4!

you know how I love pink, well I've discovered that the connect 4 game at the studio has pink counters! Awesome,I love the feeling of the counters and the click they make when I slot the, into the game board!

Exciting sensory experiences

I had a great week exploring tactile and sensory experiences. Lemongrass is my new favoured scent and jenni and I found some lovely hand wash to use. I also had fun cooking fish pie again, enjoying helping chop potatoes and peel eggs!
