Merry Christmas

I have finished up for the year, but would like to wish all my friends and family a merry Christmas and happy new year, will catch you all when I'm back in the new school term! Xx

Strawberry season

I got to be part of the group who went to get strawberries to share at the centre, it was a lovely morning out as we had also just attended the end of year drama performance! I am getting so brave these days! Just look at these big juicy, sweet fruit!

So proud of myself

I wore my beautiful dress with my lavender coloured cardigan today. My mum did by hair for which looked lovely everyone said. Lucky for me as I really was brave today I had my first visit to ashas house and also I went on meals on wheels. I was so proud of myself for being so brave.

Music madness

We had a cool session of Christmas carols for music with our Greerton friends, their tree was up so we also had beatific lights for our session

Outing

I am getting very brave these days. I went out this morning to help pick up the safety fence that will be used to give us a little outside ares at the studio.

Making lunch

I had a great life skills lesson today with helping to prepare my own lunch, i brought bread, cheese, ham and pineapple with me and made a toasted sandwich, jacky helped a little and the more I do this, the easier it will become for me! Yum!

Drawing rabbits

I brought my toy rabbit 'Gingy' from home, and used him as a model for my drawing, I love using crayons, the brighter, the better! Also, check out my favourite pink jumper!

Music in Greerton

On Monday, after sensory and morning tea, we join Greerton for music, Matthew took a shine to me while we played shakers to the music, it's great making friends!

Enjoying my friends

I'm really enjoying getting out and about with my friends, and watching their projects such as drama, and I think I'm feeling a lot more settled and 'at home' now at arohanui

My treasure from home

I brought my little treasure from home to show my friends at the centre, I'd been busy helping sew scrap fabric together to make something special!

School holidays

I'm spending time with my family for the school holidays, I can't wait to get back though and see what my friends have been up to!

Out in the sun

I had such an awesome time with all of my friends at the park today, we lapped up the sunshine and had so much fun!

Feeling fancy

I felt in a great mood this morning, I put on my favourite lippy and was ready for some laughter and fun. We really enjoyed singing to Abba while we created!

Out about in town

Today we took advantage of the spring air and went to the op shop, mitre 10 (where I got a photo pretending to be in the rugby scrum), and went to the community gardens too, it was so warm and I smiled at people we passed and recognised a school friend!

Greerton music

I have been really adventuress lately going to the  Greerton centre for a sensory session and having a sing along with some of the greerton people.

Sorting and preparing for our next project

I'm enjoying creating and learning new skills, we are sorting our crafts, art and hobbies cupboard, ready for our next project!

Balloons

They say I don't like balloons. Well take a look I joined with this game  and it was fun. The ballon wasn't to touch the ground.

Tactile and sensory

I've had a lovely week with tactile sewing of a hand puppet who has blonde hair like me! I also enjoyed my trip to the Greerton sensory room!

Family time

I'm enjoying some time with my family while it is school holidays, I do miss my friends when I'm not at arohanui 

Art is my favourite

I continued to enjoy working on my crayon art pieces this week, I really like the way the colours can go over each other

Watching the drama performance

I really enjoyed going for an outing to support my arohanui friends in their drama performance, I really enjoyed their singing! What a nice way to spend a cold morning, with my friends.

Looking for make up sales

I love make-up, I'm just checking out the sales of my favourite eye shadow, pretty pink!

Amy's birthday

Lucky us we had sausage rolls and banana cake for Amy's birthday. We got to cut up and cook the sausage rolls ourselves.

Girls outing!

I really enjoyed my outing to the $2 shop and the on to bayfair! It was exciting getting my lippy applied by the lady at Farmers.

Art and Activities with my New Friends

I am really enjoying settling into Arohanui TP, my happy place is the art and activities table, where I enjoy watching my friends and using crayons and stickers to make beautiful bright artwork! I think it's pretty funny when Sarah sings and dances with my friends and I!

Yahoo for me

I have had three days at Arohanui TP this week. We have made some photo frames and also I now have my own one direction photos.

My mum and I have been visiting Arohanui te puke this week. I have shown my new friends my photos and my rabbits. The most favourite thing is my beautiful lipstick that I wore yesterday.
